Advanced bikini waxing course
This is an entirely online training course delivered by Waxperts Academy.
The distance learning course gives qualified waxing professionals the opportunity to transform their hair removal waxing skills to Waxperts standard and to become confident bikini waxing using Waxperts original hot wax. This course is also ideal for waxers who have no experience with intimate bikini waxing and want to deliver a more comfortable treatment for their clients.
Once you have purchased the course, you will be contacted by Waxperts to start your online training. You will then access their online portal, including online tutorial videos and resources including the Waxperts manual. You will then be required to submit 5 case studies and finally, to complete their online quiz.
It is recommended you purchase the Waxperts bikini wax starter kit to complete this course, which has all you need to perform Waxperts hot wax treatments including original hot wax, cleanser, pre wax oil and after wax oil. Please ensure you purchase this kit as soon as you register your place on the course to allow time for delivery.
The waxing course includes a detailed account of the products used and processes involved surrounding bikini waxing, as well as the opportunity for students to practice female intimate waxing. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate accredited by ABT. The certificate will be posted to you by Waxperts.
Course Content
● Waxperts Hot wax product knowledge.
● Waxperts product knowledge, client consultation, contraindications, client care, positioning, aftercare, hygiene standards
● Double dipping
● Includes tuition on 5 styles of female intimate bikini waxing – basic, extended, inbetweeny, Brazilian and Hollywood
● Students have access to online resources, tutorials and on-going support from the Waxperts Academy Education Team
Course completion guidelines
● Students must progress through lectures/sections in order
● Students must view 90% of a video to advance to the next lecture/section
● Students must complete a graded quiz and achieve an 80% pass rate. (The quiz may be retaken up to 10 times.)
● Students must submit 5 case studies online including client consultation, before and after images. These case studies will be graded by the Waxperts Educator. Grading can take up to 14 days from case study submission date
Case studies must cover the following:
● 1 x basic bikini
● 1 x extended bikini
● 1 x inbetweeny bikini
● 1 x Brazilian bikini
● 1 x Hollywood bikini
Important: All bikini wax imagery submitted with each case study, will be handled confidentially and in accordance with GDPR guideline by the appointed Waxperts Educator. All images will be permanently deleted once each case study has been graded.
